Rural Day is an annual event in Feilding where the town meets country and Feilding's role as a rural servicing town is celebrated.    Manchester Square is closed to traffic for the day and the normal Friday Farmers Market is joined by other things rural.

Its a family day out with plenty of entertainment, the Rural Man of the year competition, The Business Gumboot Rally, the Rural Mum Run and plenty of others.   There are other attractions running throughout the day such as an animal farm yard, shearing displays, merry go round and bouncy castle, candy floss etc.  All the things for young and old.

One of the main attractions is the opportunity to have a ride on a couple of vehicles from the Coach House.   This year Cameron hitched Jake and Bess up to the old Wellington Milk Dept. milk float.   Colleen had Chips in the Mai wagon.   The rides proved very popular with queues for rides the order of the day.
